Wrapped Lavender Lion's Paw Sconce with Scallop Shell Shade — Model No. 024

The Wrapped Lavender Lion’s Paw Sconce is the newest member of the Venus Collection, a whimsical family of handmade fixtures inspired by the Surrealists and natural forms of the sea. 

Developed for a private client using the DNA of its considerably taller sister lamp, Model No. 024 features an oiled papercord-wrapped plaster base and column, unfinished brass hardware, and a shade constructed from a matching pair of sustainably sourced, variegated lavender Lion’s Paw scallop shells, permanently fused open at their natural hinge. 

Highly adjustable friction swivels at the shade and base allow it to firmly hold a pose. 

Made-to-order by hand in a numbered, signed edition by artist Christopher Tennant.
