Prairie Modern Bamboo Table Lamp — Model No. 017

The One of One Collection is an ongoing series of single-edition floor and table  lamps featuring shades made from particularly rare vintage paper parasols from our archive. Rest assured, you will never see another one like it ...  

Model No. 017 is a table lamp topped with an upcycled rice-paper shade constructed from an antique children's parasol manufactured in Japan, circa 1950, with a hand-painted, boldly abstract pattern rendered in over-saturated watercolor tones of red, green, black, and orange.  

It sits atop a lacquered vintage bamboo column and split-coconut base, finished with brass fittings and an olive green cloth-covered cord.
