Wrapped Lavender Lion's Paw Task Lamp & Wall Sconce — Model No. 024

The Wrapped Lavender Lion’s Paw Wall-Mountable Task Lamp is the switch-hitter of the Venus Collection, a whimsical family of handmade fixtures inspired by the Surrealists and natural forms of the sea. Employing the latest advances in cool-to-the-touch LED technology, the collection features table lamps, floor lamps, and sconces made with hand-selected specimen seashells in place of traditional shades, putting the organic source material behind so much 20^th century modernism front and center.

Developed for a private client using the DNA of its considerably taller sister lamp, Model No. 24 is centered on a lavender-tinted cast-concrete base, with a papercord-wrapped column, unfinished brass hardware, chocolate-brown cloth-covered cord, and matching brown in-line switch.

Highly adjustable 360-degree friction swivels at the shade and base allow it to firmly hold a pose, making it equally useful as a low bedside reading lamp or wall-mounted sconce, with or without a cord. (Select your preferred style from the dropdown menu before adding it to your cart.)

Its shade is constructed from a matching pair of sustainably sourced, naturally translucent, variegated lavender Lion’s Paw scallop shells, permanently fused open at their natural hinge.
